It has been a busy year for GRC. We have been involved in the Green Infrastructure Audits for London covering a large part of Central London. Many simple sedum blanket systems are still be installed in the UK. Although such systems have inherent value for nature conservation green roofs with a greater depth of substrate and a wider variety of wildflowers can significantly increase the value of a green roof, especially for invertebrate species.
